Tunisian glass, on the road to a sustainable future

Two sites, three furnaces, 500 million containers a year.

Need a quick contact?

Turning glass into a sustainable future. Innovation in the service of eco-responsibility.

Founded in 1963 by the Tunisian state, SOTUVER began production in 1967. Since then, it has become a major player in hollow glass in the Mediterranean, guided by a simple conviction: good packaging protects both the product it holds and the planet that later receives it. Every day, we go further: more capacity, more recycling, more clean energy.

Glass can be reborn indefinitely. At SOTUVER, we don't just say it: we collect, sort, treat and feed used glass back into our furnaces, with the support of our partner shops, cafés, hotels, restaurants and associations. Our cullet treatment plant processes 15 tonnes an hour.
